Belgrave Heights Christian School is a non-denominational, coeducational school offering Pre-Prep to Year 12.
Choosing a school can be a little daunting when you have never done it before. There are so many factors to consider and the needs of your child play a vital part in that process.
By talking to parents from various local schools, we had a fair idea of what we did and didn’t want in a school. Something that did assist us in making our decision was the contrast we found between Belgrave Heights Christian School and every other school we looked at. What surprised us the most were the things we thought this school might be missing. What we found was the opposite. If there was any doubt about our decision, these were quickly dispelled no meeting with the Principal (Andy Callow).
Ethan attended the transition classes that helped introduce him to the school and he has never looked back. When Ethan was asked about his first day his response was ‘FLIPPIN AWESOME!’, you can’t get better than that! The values of the school, the standard of excellence and the community spirit make us proud of our decision.
The school is big enough to hold their own, yet small enough to enable the children to feel a sense of family, community and belonging. Ethan is passionate about his school life and enthusiastic about every aspect. He loves his teacher, his buddy, his class-mates, and his lessons and is proud of being a part of the school community. Ethan’s sister is eager to join him next year and we have no doubt that she will thrive as much as he does. There are many things that can be daunting for a Prep student but the transition to school life has been an easy one for our son.

This is Matthew’s third year at Belgrave Heights Christian School. When Matthew started at school we had been looking around for a Christian School for quite a while. Although we live 30 minutes drive from the school we felt at peace leaving our young child here. He was one of the youngest students in his Prep class and we were worried about this. The teacher was amazing. She helped Matthew settle in, made sure he was well looked after and even assigned three buddies to look after him. We felt like we were part of a big family, which is important because Matthew spends so much of his life in this environment.
All the staff we have dealt with over the last three years have been friendly and always helpful, they have been great! We are blessed to be a part of this school.
