A Glennie education is a priceless investment in your daughter's future

The value of a Glennie education is embodied in:

  •  a professional and committed staff,
  • an active pastoral care system, and
  • a curriculum that is innovative yet well-grounded to prepare girls for the real world.

As a school for girls, Glennie generates a high level of engagement in learning. An all-girls atmosphere;

  • allows safe risk taking,
  • is unbounded by notions of ‘girls vs boys’,
  • encourages academic achievement,
  • develops a greater sense of connectedness with the School and each other,
  • shows how girls thrive in collaborative teams,
  • encourages participation at all levels,
  • celebrates achievement, and
  • promotes leadership at many levels.

As A Community Where Tomorrow’s Women Learn, The Glennie School;

  • provides a dynamic learning and living environment
  • is a place where tomorrow’s women are encouraged to develop their personal skills founded on trust, integrity, discipline and social responsibility
  • engages girls, at all levels, in learning, reasoned thinking, innovative programs and the community.
Glennie's facilities include a recently completed Junior Yeras (K-6)Campus, airconditioned classrooms, indoor aquatic centre, performing arts centre, synthetic track for athletics, a modern hospitality training facility, school-wide wireless connectivity.
The broard and varied curriculum encourages the girls to be all they can be, with many opportunities to pursue further studies after school, enter the work force with VET qualifications or discover new horizons of interest.
Most sports are played in the local sporting competitions. Extensive performing arts opportunites exist
As a community where tomorrow's women learn, our Mission is to provide girls with dynamic opportunities in education, training and personal growth which develop their individual potential and prepare them for life. We shall incorporate traditional values within a caring, Christian environment, together with the best contemporary teaching methods and learning experiences.
Our vision is to develop in each Glennie girl the intellectual, physical and spiritual potential to be 'all she can be.'

Glennie girls are to be educated to the highest academic standards of which they are capable. In addition, Glennie girls are to be given the opportunities to develop their sporting and cultural talents through a rich, diverse and relevant co-curricular program. By achieving an understanding of their own spiritual dimension, Glennie girls will make a positive contribution to the world with a sense of their own worth and character in addition to a well-developed sense of citizenship. As well-skilled, well-rounded and well-grounded young people of excellent character, integrity and poise, Glennie girls will be able to be all they can be.

Four Houses divided into Tutor groups which meet every day. Tutor teachers provide care and support with the Heads of House. A student Counsellor, female School Chaplain and Health Centre provide additional support and care.

With each girl provided with a modern"roomette" except for the young women in Year 12 who have their own room, Glennie's three boarding houses provide a vibrant and happy environment where friendships are developed and sustained throughout life.

Before and after shool routines provide a structure to weekly life that encourages the girls to lead as normal a life as possible whilst living away from home. Study, sport, excursions, cultural activities and just 'hanging out' in the comfortable and well equipped lounge / common rooms are all part of boarding life.
