A well-rounded education: Huntingtower provides more than academic
rigour. Dedicated and professional staff ensure that each child is given the
encouragement and guidance necessary to develop sound values, beliefs
and attitudes. As a consequence, Huntingtower’s students are identified
by their thoughtful and caring approach to one another, their teachers and
their school. In all areas, including academic pursuits, sporting endeavour,
public speaking and debating, dramatic productions and a classical music
program that is the envy of many schools, Huntingtower students are
encouraged to strive to do their best.

Small is beautiful: With 600 students from Prep to Year 12, Huntingtower
students are able to be celebrated as individuals with unique gifts, talents
and needs. Each student is known, nurtured and loved. The average class
size at the VCE level is around twelve, which ensures individual attention
at this most important time. There is a strong focus on the spiritual nature
of each individual. Huntingtower’s Christian environment encourages
respect of all faiths and an understanding of every individual’s unlimited
nature as a child of God, divine Love and divine Mind.

A twenty-two acre campus with four sports grounds, two gymnasiums, music school, performing arts centre, science/math/technology centre, four computer laboratories, boarding facilities and much more.
Huntingtower’s 2020 Vision is to ensure that all students have the
life skills needed to excel in the 21st century. Its curriculum is innovative and
dynamic, with Personal Development and ‘Learning to Learn’ being features of
the Senior School Curriculum. A wide-ranging choice of subjects includes History and Geography, Fine Arts, Design and Technology, French and Indonesian, all
the Mathematics and Science courses needed for tertiary entrance, Business
courses and a superb music program. The extensive sporting program includes all major sports in internal and inter-school competition.
Drama, debating, theatre sports, dance, instrumental groups and choirs, public speaking, Tournament of the Minds, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Outdoor Education, Leadership programs and interstate and overseas cultural and musical tours, including exchanges with sister schools.
