We’re proudly developing well-educated, independent young people.

As a Catholic community, we welcome and celebrate visitors and guests, and offer a range of opportunities to see the school in action:

1. Open Days throughout the year:

St Gerard’s has Open Days each year. Our next Open Day will be held on Wednesday, 8 March. Open Days are a fantastic opportunity to come and see our school in action, chat with our Principal and teachers, and meet current families.

2. Personalised Tours at a time that suits you:

We also offer personalised tours with our team year-round where we are able to show you our school, and discuss your child’s individual needs.

Book your tour today! or take our Virtual Tour.

3. Playgroup:

St Gerard’s hosts a Playgroup for families in our community. For more information click here.

"Great school with small classes and amazing teachers. Small school, so all the teachers and families get to know each other - and a reassuring feeling that your kids are well looked after."

"St Gerard's is such a supportive and welcoming school. They make each and every child and family feel supported. We are lucky to have such an amazing community where our family has made life long friends!"

"We’ve had an excellent experience with this school. It has small classes, a great school community and excellent teachers. The classrooms have a friendly and vibrant feel. Couldn’t speak more highly of it."

Making the decision about your child’s future education and wellbeing is a very important one so it is essential to find out about the school and its community.

St Gerard’s is a faith community and as such promotes a Christ-centred education. We do this in partnership with parents and parish. Our focus is inspired by our school motto, “Growing in Wisdom and Faith”, which draws from our Mercy values and tradition. A strong sense of partnership is evident in our school and is strengthened by the level of parental engagement and the great spirit of hospitality shown by children, staff and fellow parents.  At St Gerard’s, teachers and students work together to create a positive and supportive school, which we believe adds to a successful learning environment.

Under strong leadership, St Gerard’s is clearly focused on quality teaching and learning. The school provides a well balanced, comprehensive and engaging curriculum, which gives all children the opportunity to become life-long learners. English and Mathematics are given time priority each day and each classroom is equipped with a range of technology to meet the needs of contemporary learners.  A variety of programs are available to support student interests and learning needs.  Students are provided with the opportunity to participate in Choir, Chess, Band, Maths Olympiad, Science Challenge, Public Speaking and Representative Sports.

Enrolment enquiries are welcome. Please email the school office if you wish to speak with me about the St Gerard’s school community.

Best wishes,
Barbara Yee
